Everything we serve is designed to work with one hand — the other's for your drink, or for turning a page of sheet music. Small plates, proper cocktails, and a gin list that runs deeper than most bars in Torbay.
We don't do a gastronomic tasting menu, and we don't do a sticky pub kitchen. We do food that holds its own next to a live piano and a cold martini.

Cocktails built around what's behind the bar — including Drunken Horse Gin, our signature pour. Proper measures, proper glassware, no smoke guns.
· The Collection ·
Our gin list runs to more spirits than most cocktail bars in Devon. We carry gins from the South West, London and contemporary producers — each chosen because it earns its place. Below is a selection from the full list.
Our house pour — a Belgian gin from Ghent, born at the Steenbergs Distillery. Bright citrus, juniper-led, with a long Himalayan Timut pepper finish. The gin that defines Black Ivory.

Chosen to drink, not to impress. Our list is short and changes with the seasons — always something by the glass that works with live piano.
